The Health Leadership Fellows Program was designed and launched by the Connecticut Health Foundation (CHF) in 2005 to foster, support and promote a generation of leaders committed to expanding health equity, particularly for people of color, in Connecticut. Since the inception of the program, CHF graduated nearly 200 health equity leaders. The Fellows continue to lead and influence their surrounding environments to make health care more equitable in Connecticut.
With the launch of the newly designed Academy for Health Equity & Leadership (AHEAL) program in 2017 (click here for more information), CHF asked Health Equity Solutions to take the lead in creating and maintaining the “network” of Health Leadership Fellows, to include connecting the Fellows to health equity advocacy, leadership, and employment opportunities. This network is an effort to continue the march towards a more equitable health landscape in Connecticut.
