We are thrilled to invite you to the 6th annual state-wide Health Equity Week, from March 30th – April 7th! Health Equity Week, recognized in state statute, is Connecticut’s annual commitment to eliminating health disparities and creating opportunities for every resident to thrive in good health.
This year’s theme is “Affording Equity”.
Why? Times are tough, and Connecticut residents are having a hard time affording the things they need to stay healthy. Some have huge medical bills, others worry about not having a stable place to live, and many are stressed about paying off student loans. “Affording Equity” reminds us how important it is to tackle these problems so everyone can have a fair chance to access what they need for a good and healthy life.
Let’s make a meaningful impact this Health Equity Week. Join us for a FULL week of advocacy, learning, and collaboration!
