Jason is a licensed psychotherapist in a private practice in Madison, CT. He treats clients with a broad spectrum of presentations. His early training in the mental health field included working in collaboration with the Yale School of Medicine and Aware Recovery Care in the research, development, and implementation of a novel in-home clinical treatment model for clients with co-occurring Substance Use Disorder and Anxiety/Depression.
Jason studied English Literature and Psychology at the University of Connecticut (B.A.), then moved on to Arizona State University (M.A. English) and ASU Law School, before beginning a 15-year tenure at Charles Schwab and Co.
While working as an institutional broker and fund manager, Jason aided in the development of a mission-driven program called Fore a Reason, which established scholarships for young men and women of color, and developed learning centers with high-speed internet, to fill the gap in equitable internet access. The project would go on to become a part of Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation after Mr Woods became interested in expanding upon the work that Fore A Reason had begun.
Jason transitioned from a career in finance after a near-death experience dramatically realigned his priorities, and led him to return to graduate school, earning an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Jason is the proud dad of a kind and hard-working 14-year-old daughter and is an avid outdoorsman and adventurer.
