She later served as Policy Advocacy Manager at the Hispanic Health Council, leading campaigns focused on housing, mental health, immigrant health coverage, and maternal health.
Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Xavier University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work with a policy concentration at the University of Connecticut. In her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, spending time with her cat Bebe, and being in community with her loved ones.
Join us for the HES Walk for Health Equity on Sunday, October 12th at Bushnell Park! This event is more than a walk – it’s a powerful statement that the current systems in place do not meet the needs of all people who live in Connecticut, particularly our Black and Brown communities that are disproportionately impacted by health disparities. Walk with us in this movement for justice.
